So I was having issues with Ark not running when i tried to get on today, I had this same problem for days trying to figure out what to do to join a server using mods. I have a heavily modded server and it frequently causes new joins to have issues if they don't understand how the mod downloads work with steam and this game. This mod is now to be considered abandoned. I've had errors with the dev kit that even installing a new dev kit on a new pc with a re-install of windows hasn't fixed and I have yet to get anything resembling help from official channels.
